Turn photographs, messages and recorded recollections into a life story you can shape, edit and share.

Mia reading a memoir about her mother, Lina
An imagined experience. Illustrative imagery.

There are photographs you can explain, years you want to revisit and stories you have never put into words.

We're building a way to turn your records and recollections into a life book you can shape.

Start with a chapter.

Choose a period or a story: leaving home, meeting someone important, building a business. Bring the photographs, messages and documents you want to use.

Tell the parts only you know.

Answer a few questions in writing or in your own voice. Your records can provide dates and context; your recollection gives them meaning.

Make the story yours.

Review the outline, change the wording, correct details and choose the photographs. Keep original evidence connected to the working chapter, and decide what belongs in the version you share.

Your first result: an editable chapter about a meaningful period, with selected photographs and a list of questions you may want to answer next.

How it will work

  1. Choose a story and its supporting material.
  2. Add the memories the records cannot tell.
  3. Review a chapter and build from there.

Does this include a printed book? Printing, formats and packages are still to be confirmed. The first proposed result is a reviewed, editable manuscript.

The next chapter

Begin with what you would hate to lose.

Keep the original and the story behind it. Your history deserves a home.
