SEED vs Google Gemini
Google’s connected life. Or an independent home for your history.
Gemini is convenient when your records already live in Google’s apps. SEED is built around preserving copies across your digital life, operating the core AI ourselves and reusing that history for an avatar, a memoir, health records and a chosen legacy.
Beyond one account ecosystem
Preserve an independent copy when devices, accounts or services change.
One archive, several outcomes
Work toward a book, an avatar and private legacy collections from the same history.
Storage is only part of value
Google’s paid plans offer more capacity. SEED combines preservation with dedicated personal tools.

Bring a copy beyond the source account.
Keep using Gemini where it fits your Google workflow. Export the originals you want to preserve independently. SEED’s broader archive and life tools are designed around those copies; a SEED-specific Gemini connection has not been announced.
Privacy and processing, in brief
Google distinguishes an entire source library from the excerpts, summaries and inferences used in Gemini interactions. Keep Activity and connected-app settings affect model improvement; the rule is more specific than “Google trains on every inbox.”
SEED’s core AI is designed for infrastructure we operate. We do not sell your records or use them for advertising or to train our models. Material you choose to send to an outside assistant follows that provider’s terms.
How SEED handles your dataQuestions worth asking
Can Gemini answer questions about my Gmail and photos?
Eligible Personal Intelligence accounts can connect supported Google apps. Check the sources and permissions available in your account.
Does disconnecting an app delete past Gemini activity?
Google treats source connections and Gemini activity separately. Review both settings when removing information.
Is SEED another Google storage plan?
SEED is building a personal archive with tools around preserved records. Its planned storage allowance is one part of that experience, rather than the whole product.
