What it is not

  • Not an offline AI computer. It is a copy of your archive. Hosted private AI runs in your server environment.
  • Not a live sync. It is a saved copy. Make a new one when your archive changes.
  • Not a deletion request. Receiving a drive never removes hosted content on its own.

    Your vault, folder by folder: family memories, documents, projects, archives. Pick the ones that go on your drive.

  2. Or only some records

    Open a collection and take all of it, or just the photographs, videos and voice notes you want to keep.

  3. Get the originals

    Each record is the original file with its name, date and context, not just a set of AI summaries. The drive’s own folder layout is not final yet.

How much does the USB Vault cost?

SEED USB Vault is $99 for a 256 GB external USB drive, separate from hosted storage and optional external AI usage. Compatibility, shipping and any applicable taxes are confirmed before ordering. Joining the waitlist does not place an order.

Does the drive run SEED AI offline?

The USB Vault is a copy of your archive. It does not promise an offline AI computer or an automatic conversation experience when you plug it in.

Will it stay up to date automatically?

Treat it as a saved copy of the archive you selected. Make a new copy when you want it to include newer records.

Does ordering a drive delete my hosted archive?

No. Keep both if you wish. Any request to delete hosted content is a separate decision, with recovery retention described in the privacy policy.

How should I keep it safe?

Store it securely, protect access to the contents and keep another independent copy. A physical drive can be lost or damaged; possession of it should be treated carefully.
